CINEMA NOW is a programme space dedicated for the young, talented and successful film authors. It is comprised of our directors, actors, cinematographers and producers. Presenting new films and achievements, CINEMA NOW will introduce the audience with contemporary national film, which exists as a result of a new wave of film authors. The festival campaign of Cinema City will be marked by these young, creative people, present in various programme selections and connected through CINEMA NOW platform. This year CINEMA NOW is comprised of three integral parts: Up to 10.000 bucks, Hungry Days and CineYouth. 

CineYouth is a platform which, alongside film selections, promotes future authors, and stands as a part of the CINEMA NOW campaign. CineYouth is made up of a series of interactive contents – interviews, panel discussions and workshops, designed for young creative authors who wish to apply their talents in the field of cinematography. Participants of CineYouth will get to see festival’s film projections, meet and talk to notable film authors and participate in free workshops on film art topics. Workshop programme was made in cooperation with SAE Insitute, world’s biggest private university for digital media.
